April 2009 - LatAm Consulting Inc. announced today that Jorge Oceguera has recently earned the status of IAF-Certified Professional Facilitator™ (IAF-CPF™). Mr. Oceguera earned the highly respected designation IAF-CPF after successfully completing an intensive competency evaluation held recently by the International Association of Facilitators (IAF) in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

The designation, IAF-Certified Professional Facilitator, is granted to a candidate after they have demonstrated evidence of competency in five core facilitation competency areas. In this in-depth certification assessment, candidates must successfully display their capabilities in writing, through interviews, and then through a demonstration of facilitation skill. The process takes several months to complete, and is recognized as a serious commitment to the field.

“I am proud to have demonstrated mastery of my field through achievement of this certification,” said Mr. Oceguera. “After IAF’s rigorous application and assessment process, I am very proud to say that I am an IAF-CPF, a Certified Professional Facilitator.
